I am the CIO and Director of IT at the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) International.

I lead FSC’s digital transformation by fostering the use of data, analytics, cutting-edge science and modern Information Technologies for our world’s forests and the people that rely on them. In FSC, I oversee technology operations and innovations hubs, and I am working to position FSC to be a data-driven leader with robust technology tools to improve FSC’s social, environmental, and economic core.

Prior to joining FSC, I worked in roles as Head of ICT Strategy and Services at CGIAR in Montpellier, France, as Assistant Vice President at Citigroup in New York, NY, and as the senior IT consultant at the United Nations World Food Programme, in Rome, Italy.

My background spans several disciplines and is rooted in strategic data and information management, mathematical sciences, classical music, IT infrastructure, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

In my studies, I earned an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation at MIT Sloan Business School, a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Mathematical Sciences and Music, and a master’s degree in Music from American universities. I am married with five children, ages six to fifteen, and we live in Bonn, Germany.
