Arshi Mehboob is Manager at the Grand Challenges India (GCI). The Grand Challenges India manages the partnership programs of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Affordable Healthcare Initiative with Wellcome.
At the GCI, Arshi leads the nutrition and agriculture linkages to the health portfolio, and data analytics programs in maternal and child health and immunization data systems, through the life cycle around the programs managed by the unit.
Before joining BIRAC, Arshi worked as Programme Manager – Agriculture, in North Eastern Region-Biotechnology Programme Management Cell (NER-BPMC), at the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Arshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany and Master’s in Agriculture Sciences from the Aligarh Muslim University, and currently pursuing Doctorate in Nutrition in Indian women of migrant households, from Manav Rachna University.
