Sean defended a PhD in Machine learning at Oregon State University in 2017 and currently serves on two Partnership on AI working groups dedicated to avoiding AI safety incidents and ethical failures. At Syntiant, Sean develops neural network models to run on analog processors at ultra low power consumption.
