Head of Data, Google

I have over 20 years of experience in data driven decision making and problem solving. As the Head of cross-functional tools & data science group at Google, I drive data based decisions that guide business strategy to execute faster, deliver impact, and quantify KPIs. In my two decades of experience, I have led teams acting as a force multiplier delivering data projects in high velocity environments that drive business growth. I am known for transforming the negative into positives, problem-solving efficiently and achieving operational excellence across industries and specializations.

With a cross industry background as a Scientist, Environmentalist and Technologist, I easily synthesize a large amount of use cases to drive transformative impact. In addition to my leadership role at Google, I'm grateful to have patents as well as awards from the National Science Foundation and former employers such as BASF and Xcel Energy. I earned my Master’s degree in Science & Technology from the University of Utah, my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, a certificate in Business Leadership from Stanford Graduate School, and multiple certificates in computer and data science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UT Austin. Most recently, I was named #2 on Women We Admire for 2024 in Austin, TX.
