She also co-created the movement Believe.Earth for a prosperous and sustainable future.
She co-founded Alana Foundation, a United States-based philanthropic organization that sponsors the XPrize Rainforest. And co-founded the Alana Down Syndrome Center at MIT.
Ana Lucia is an Ashoka Fellow and a board member of Itaúsa Holding, Itaú Bank, Itau Foundation for Education and Culture and other companies and foundations. She studied Pedagogy, holds a master degree in Psychology of Education and studied Business with specialization in civil society organizations.
